Wudang Kung Fu Marathon 2026 was the largest edition with 3,000 participants from 25 countries. The Danjiangkou dragon boat races attracted 50 teams in 2026. Wudang Wushu Competition hosted masters from 15 countries.
The Wudang Kung Fu Marathon is expanding with a new half marathon category. New Taoist martial arts training camps are being offered year-round. The Shiyan Marathon is targeting provincial certification upgrade.
