We started this platform to solve that problem — not with generic group tours, but with a carefully curated network of licensed, English-speaking private guides who are passionate about sharing the real China with visitors from around the world.

Two thousand years ago, Zhuangzi wrote in the Free and Easy Wandering: "The cicada and the little dove laugh at the Peng bird, saying, 'When we make an effort and fly, we can reach the elm or the sandalwood tree and that's enough."
Today, by the shores of East Lake in Wuhan, we chose the name "Zhierchong" (之二虫) to embrace this humble philosophy of creation. We do not aspire to the soaring heights of the mythical Peng bird; instead, we focus on the practical wisdom of building something meaningful within our reach — one step at a time, one project at a time.
When the storms of our era (the COVID-19 pandemic) swept across the travel industry, it was this grounded, pragmatic spirit that kept our ideal alive. We are a group of small but determined people. We admire the cicada's "purity and integrity," and we aspire to be like the little dove — a wise creature content with its nature, unmoved by external grandeur. We walk forward, one footprint at a time.
Wuhan City Zhierchong Culture and Communication Co., Ltd. (武汉市之二虫文化传播有限公司) was established. Our early focus was travel consulting, itinerary design, and cultural content creation.
We developed and operated YOKI (有记), an overseas voice-guided tour app that brought Chinese-language audio commentary to international destinations. We also produced overseas travel films and commercial shoots for clients.
Our custom travel photography and videography service has grown into a signature offering — capturing authentic moments for travelers across China and beyond.
We officially renamed to Wuhan City Zhierchong Culture and Tourism Co., Ltd. (武汉市之二虫文旅有限公司). Our mission evolved: building China's cultural IP for overseas audiences, while operating inbound and domestic travel services through VIPChinaGuide and Wuhan.Video.
Our current flagship project, Wuhan.Video, is dedicated to showcasing Wuhan and Chinese cities to the world through high-quality video content. We bridge the gap between "input-style English education" and real cross-cultural communication, helping international visitors truly understand China.

Founder & CEO
Sisi holds a Master's degree in Language and Literature from Wuhan University of Technology (211 Project University). She spent five years working abroad in the travel industry — two years in Italy and three years in the United States.
As a professional English-speaking host, she has hosted theater events for audiences of over 3,000 people. She has personally accompanied more than a thousand tour groups and received comprehensive training from the American Travel Institute as a Destination Specialist.
With over 10 years of travel consulting experience in China, she has visited every province and most cities across the country, and traveled to 53 countries and 200+ cities worldwide.
She is also a contracted photographer for Getty Images (华盖) and VCG (中国视觉), bringing a creative visual perspective to everything we do.
We believe in finding joy and purpose in our own capabilities. As Zhuangzi taught, "If one is content with one's nature, even the great Peng cannot look down upon the small bird."
