What You Will See
Pit 1 — Army Hall
The largest pit, housing 6,000 soldiers in battle formation. The most visually stunning of the three pits. Your guide reveals the military strategy encoded in the formation — and why the army faces east.
Pit 2 — Command Center
The smallest but most strategically important pit, containing cavalry, infantry, and archers. Features the only kneeling archer figure on public display.
Pit 3 — Commanders' Pit
The exclusive officers' section — only 68 warriors and 6 war chariots. Believed to be the command headquarters of the entire army.
Terracotta Warriors Museum
The museum houses the most exquisitely restored warriors, including the unique bronze chariot display and the famous General figure with intact color traces — a revelation after 2,000 years underground.
